Die nuts are a standard hex shape akin to a nut for ease-of-use with your preferred spanner or socket. They are ideal for repairing external threads that require some cleaning, and can also be used to create an external thread from raw material. It is however recommended to use a button die with a diestock for creating your external threads as the diestock gives you unmatched control and power for driving the die into the raw material.
Goliath dies are a high quality, high speed solution for external threading and can be used alone to create or fix your thread, but to improve the ease of use and life of your dies it is highly recommended to use a cutting fluid or paste.
